Vikram Solar Signs 1 GW Solar Cell Supply Deal with Avaada Electro

Vikram Solar Ltd has entered into a domestic solar cell supply agreement with Avaada Electro Limited to procure 1 GW of high-efficiency N-Type G12R TOPCon ALMM-compliant solar cells. This agreement, valued at approximately ₹1,250 crores, aims to strengthen Vikram Solar's position in the Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) market and enhance its supply chain resilience. Deliveries are slated to begin in September 2026, complementing Vikram Solar's backward integration strategy, including its upcoming 9 GW solar cell manufacturing facility. The deal underscores Vikram Solar's commitment to 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' and securing India's energy security.
