Vishal Mega Mart: Gunender Kapur re-appointed MD & CEO for 5 years

Vishal Mega Mart Limited announced the re-appointment of Mr. Gunender Kapur as Founder, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer for a tenure of five years, effective September 01, 2026, until August 31, 2031. This decision was approved by the Board of Directors based on the recommendations of the Nomination & Remuneration Committee and is subject to shareholder approval. Mr. Kapur, who has over 42 years of experience in the consumer and retail sectors, is not related to any other directors of the company. His current term as MD & CEO began on June 27, 2024, and was set to expire on June 26, 2027.
