Vishal Mega Mart Re-appoints Gunender Kapur as MD & CEO for 5 Years

Vishal Mega Mart Limited announced the re-appointment of Mr. Gunender Kapur as Founder, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer for a tenure of five years, effective September 01, 2026, until August 31, 2031. This decision was approved by the Board of Directors based on the Nomination & Remuneration Committee's recommendation and is subject to shareholder approval. Mr. Kapur, with over 42 years of experience in retail and management, is not related to any other directors. His current term as MD & CEO began on June 27, 2024, and was set to expire on June 26, 2027. The company confirmed he is not debarred from holding directorship by any regulatory authority.
