TRAI Fines Vodafone Idea ₹2 Lakh for QoS Violations

Vodafone Idea Limited has received an order from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) levying a financial disincentive of ₹2,00,000. This penalty is due to the company failing to meet Quality of Service (QoS) parameters in various service areas during November 2025, as per the Standards of Quality of Service of Access (Wireline and Wireless) and Broadband (Wireline and Wireless) Service Regulations, 2024. The company is currently reviewing the order and evaluating its next steps. The maximum financial impact is limited to the disincentive amount levied.
