Welspun Specialty Appoints Anil Kumar Jha as Independent Director

Welspun Specialty Solutions Ltd has announced the appointment of Mr. Anil Kumar Jha as an Additional Director (Non-executive Independent Director) to its Board. The appointment, recommended by the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, is for a four-year term commencing August 28, 2026, subject to shareholder approval. Mr. Jha is a seasoned power sector professional with over 48 years of experience, including leadership roles at NTPC Limited and as a Member of the Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission. He is deemed independent and not debarred from directorship by any regulatory authority. His extensive background in power generation, project management, and regulatory affairs is expected to bring significant value to the company.
