Zelio E Mobility Opens New Coimbatore Plant, Adds 60,000 Units Capacity

Zelio E Mobility Ltd has inaugurated a new manufacturing plant in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, on July 13, 2026. This expansion is set to increase the company's production capacity by 60,000 units per annum, bringing the total to 240,000 units. The new 39,000 sq. ft. facility, with an investment of up to ₹1 crore funded by internal accruals, aims to enhance production, improve regional supply efficiency, optimize logistics, and strengthen Zelio's presence in South India. The plant will initially focus on electric two-wheelers and is expected to contribute significantly to revenue and market share in the region.
