Insecticides (India) Ltd launched GRANUVIA, a next-generation insecticide for paddy crops, on May 16, 2026. Developed by Corteva Agriscience, GRANUVIA offers long-duration control of brown plant hopper (BPH) for up to 60 days and stem borer protection for up to two weeks. It is designed to address pest infestations that significantly impact rice productivity in India. The product will be exclusively supplied to Insecticides (India) Limited under its brand name. GRANUVIA is recommended for application 30–35 days after transplanting and can be applied by broadcasting, either mixed with sand or urea.
