Spicejet Ltd has announced the closure of its trading window for designated persons, effective July 1, 2026. Authum Investment & Infrastructure Ltd has disclosed the acquisition of 2,31,07,588 equity shares, representing a 1.51% stake, in SpiceJet Limited. This acquisition was made under Regulation 29(2) of SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares & Takeovers) Regulations, 2011. The shares, previously held as continuing security for an outstanding loan, were appropriated by Authum Investment & Infrastructure Ltd on April 10, 2026, for the recovery of the loan amount due. Authum Investment & Infrastructure Ltd is not part of SpiceJet's promoter group and now holds these shares as an investment.

Spicejet Ltd, in accordance with SEBI regulations and the company's Code of Conduct for Prevention of Insider Trading, has announced the closure of the trading window for dealing in securities of the company. The closure will be effective from April 1, 2026, for designated persons until the declaration of audited financial results for the fourth quarter and financial year ending March 31, 2026, and 48 hours thereafter. The date of the Board Meeting for the financial results declaration will be informed in due course.

SpiceJet Ltd has been ordered by the Supreme Court of India to provide a security deposit of INR 144 Crore to the court pending hearing on the company's claims. This order is in relation to a share transfer agreement involving SpiceJet, its promoter Ajay Singh, KAL Airways and Kalanithi Maran. SpiceJet has already paid a total of INR 730 Crore to Kalanithi Maran and KAL Airways, including the entire principal amount of INR 580 Crore and INR 150 Crore towards interest. The remaining amount, as directed by the court, will be deposited in court in accordance with the arbitration process. SpiceJet remains confident of receiving a potential refund of INR 449 Crore on the culmination of this legal process. The company assures all stakeholders that this development has no impact on its day-to-day operations.

Authum Investment & Infrastructure Ltd has invoked a pledge on 10,37,00,000 equity shares of Spicejet Ltd, representing 6.80% of the total share capital of the company. Out of these, 6,00,00,000 shares have been sold for loan recovery, while 4,37,00,000 shares remain in Authum's dematerialized account as continuing security for the outstanding loan. This disclosure was made under Regulation 29(1) of SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeover) Regulations, 2011.

Authum Investment & Infrastructure Ltd has acquired 2.86% stake in Spicejet Ltd through the open market. The acquisition was made on February 25, 2026, and includes ordinary equity shares with a face value of Rs. 10 each. The total equity share capital of Spicejet Ltd before the acquisition was Rs. 15,26,09,94,920 comprising of 1,52,60,99,492 equity shares of Rs. 10 each. The acquisition does not provide any special rights or salient features to Authum Investment & Infrastructure Ltd.

Spicejet Ltd has recorded a sharp improvement in its domestic market position, with its market share more than doubling from 1.9% in September 2025 to 4.3% in December 2025. The strong rebound was driven by a 56% expansion in capacity during Q3, supported by the induction of 16 aircraft during the quarter. The airline plans to more than double its capacity to 220 crore Available Seat Kilometres (ASKs) by Winter 2026, positioning it for further market share gains.

SpiceJet has received a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the induction of 10 aircraft, marking another important step in the airline’s ongoing capacity expansion and network rebuilding efforts. The airline doubled its capacity in the last quarter, with Available Seat Kilometres (ASKMs) rising from around 55 crore to 105 crore. The expansion is aimed at strengthening connectivity, improving operational reliability and meeting strong passenger demand, while maintaining a disciplined and sustainable approach to growth.

Spicejet Ltd, a leading airline company, announced its unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the third quarter ended on December 31, 2025. The company reported a net loss of Rs. 2,674.72 million for the quarter and Rs. 11,405.57 million for the nine months period. The accumulated losses as of December 31, 2025, amounted to Rs. 89,053.73 million, with current liabilities exceeding current assets by Rs. 42,139.31 million. The company is facing material uncertainties that may cast significant doubt about its ability to continue as a going concern. However, the management is optimistic about future business projections and mitigating factors.
