
ACME Solar Redeems Offshore Bonds Via ₹2,147 Cr Domestic Refinancing
ACME Solar Holdings Ltd has successfully completed the refinancing of INR 2,147 crore, leading to the redemption of existing Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) issued by 12 operational special purpose vehicles (SPVs). This move also facilitated the full redemption of underlying offshore dollar bonds. The refinancing was secured from the National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (NaBFID) and has reduced borrowing costs by approximately 150 basis points, strengthening project cash flows and the capital structure. This brings the total financing raised by ACME Solar in the current fiscal to Rs 8,198 crore. The company highlighted that 56% of the capacity within the Restricted Group structure is tied to Central Utilities like SECI and NTPC.
