ACME Solar Secures ₹2646 Cr Funding for 450 MW FDRE Project

ACME Solar Holdings Ltd has secured INR 2,646.64 crore in long-term project funding from REC Ltd for its 450 MW/1800 MWh ACME Greentech Seventh Assured Peak Power Project. The funds will be used for the development and construction of this hybrid renewable energy project, which combines solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) technologies. REC Ltd will be the sole financer for 20 years. The project has a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with SJVN Limited, signed at a tariff of INR 6.74/unit for 25 years. This funding supports ACME Solar's strategy to expand its renewable energy portfolio, which currently includes a diversified mix of solar, wind, storage, FDRE, and hybrid solutions.
