Adani Energy Solutions Wins ₹8,500 Crore Transmission Project in Andhra Pradesh

Adani Energy Solutions Ltd. (AESL) has secured a significant inter-state transmission project worth approximately ₹8,500 crore in Andhra Pradesh. This project, named 'Transmission System for Proposed Green Hydrogen / Green Ammonia Projects in Vizag Area, Andhra Pradesh (Phase-I)', was awarded through the Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) framework. The transmission system is designed to support power supply for upcoming Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia projects in the Vizag area, catering to an estimated demand of 4,500 MW. It will also address the growing power needs of the Pendurthi–Vizag region, driven by data center and digital infrastructure investments. The project involves establishing substations and adding 1,582 ckm of transmission lines and 10,500 MVA of transformation capacity. This win boosts AESL's transmission orderbook to over ₹80,000 crore and is expected to be completed within 30 months.
