APSEZ Expands Kaleris Partnership for AI Transformation

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd. (APSEZ) has expanded its strategic partnership with US-based Kaleris to integrate AI-augmented operating platforms across its 15 container terminals in 9 ports. This expansion is part of APSEZ's USD 850 million investment in technology and decarbonisation by 2031, with up to USD 100 million allocated to accelerate automation and optimization with Kaleris. The collaboration aims to unlock an additional 91 MMT of capacity by 2030 and is expected to improve RTG crane productivity by up to 20% and terminal truck productivity by up to 14%. This move reinforces APSEZ's ambition to build a technology-led integrated transport platform and handle one billion tonnes of cargo annually by 2030.
