Adani Ports Cargo Volume Up 13% in June, 15% in Q1FY27

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ) reported a robust operational performance for June 2026 and the first quarter of FY27. In June 2026, APSEZ handled a total cargo volume of 46.8 Million Metric Tonnes (MMT), marking a 13% year-on-year increase. This growth was primarily driven by a 18% YoY rise in container volumes and an 11% YoY increase in liquid cargo. For the first quarter of FY27 (ended June 30, 2026), the company's cargo volume reached 138.1 MMT, up 15% YoY. Container volumes saw an 18% YoY increase, while liquid cargo grew by 12% YoY. However, logistics rail volumes experienced a decline, with June 2026 volumes at 48,650 TEUs (-22% YoY) and Q1FY27 volumes at 1,45,310 TEUs (-19% YoY).
