Adani Ports Wins 30-Year Concession for Paradip Port Berths

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ) has received a Letter of Award (LOA) for the development and operation of two dry bulk berths (CQ-I & CQ-II) at Paradip Port, Odisha. The concession period is 30 years, awarded through a competitive bidding process on a Build, Operate, and Transfer (BOT) basis. This strategic expansion on India's East Coast adds 18 MMT of mechanized dry bulk capacity, enhancing APSEZ's network to 16 ports and terminals. The project aims to boost APSEZ's total domestic portfolio to 671 MMT and supports its target of handling 1 billion tonnes of cargo by 2030, by improving access to eastern and central India's mineral-rich hinterland.
