Adani Power Assigns MSEDCL RE Contract to Subsidiary

Adani Power Limited (APL) has informed the exchange about the assignment of its 2500 MW Renewable Energy Round-The-Clock (RE RTC) power supply contract with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Limited (MSEDCL) to Powerpulse Trading Solutions Limited (PTSL). PTSL is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Adani Energy Solutions Limited. This assignment allows APL to focus on its core thermal, nuclear, and international hydroelectric projects, aligning with its long-term expansion plans and ensuring steady revenue from baseload generation. The original contract was for a 25-year period starting from the Scheduled Commencement Date of Supply.
