Sangeeta Tanwani Re-designated as Non-Executive Director at ABFRL

Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd (ABFRL) announced the re-designation and appointment of Ms. Sangeeta Tanwani as a Non-Executive Non-Independent Director, effective August 1, 2026. This follows her cessation as Whole-time Director and CEO of Pantaloons on July 31, 2026, as she transitions to a new role within the Aditya Birla Group. The appointment is for a period of two years, until July 31, 2028, subject to shareholder approval. Ms. Tanwani brings extensive experience in retail and FMCG sectors, having significantly contributed to Pantaloons' transformation since 2018. Concurrently, Mr. Suraj Bahirwani's appointment as CEO - Pantaloons has been advanced to August 1, 2026.
