Allied Blenders gets Telangana Licence for Malt Spirits

Allied Blenders and Distillers Ltd announced on September 15, 2026, that it has received a licence from the Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise, Telangana, Hyderabad. This licence permits the company to manufacture Malt Spirits for Potable Purposes at its facility in Rangapur Village, Telangana. The approved annual manufacturing capacity is approximately 4.4 million BL. This in-house manufacturing capability will reduce reliance on third-party distillers, enhance operational efficiencies, and support the development of the company's own single malt whisky products, thereby strengthening its premium portfolio and growth prospects.
