Allied Blenders to Expand Moradabad Capacity by ₹500 Cr

Allied Blenders and Distillers Ltd announced a significant capacity expansion plan for its Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh facility. The company's Management Committee approved capital expenditure of approximately ₹293.5 crores for setting up a 66 MN BL per year Dual Mode Distillery and ₹202 crores for expanding bottling capacity from 6 MN cases to 13 MN cases per year. This expansion includes a new automated bottling unit, refurbishment of an existing molasses distillery, and acquisition of additional land. The distillery is expected to be operational by Q1 FY2029, and the bottling capacity by Q3 FY2028. The rationale includes enhancing IMFL bottling capacity, increasing captive ENA consumption, improving margins, strengthening supply security, and catering to regional demand.
