Allied Blenders Clarifies SMP Status, Realigns Marketing Leadership

Allied Blenders and Distillers Ltd clarified the status of its Senior Management Personnel (SMP) following an earlier intimation. Dr. Pradipta Basu, Chief Marketing Officer, will continue to be designated as SMP, reporting to Mr. Bikram Basu. Mr. Bikram Basu has been appointed as Group Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer and SMP, effective August 1, 2026. He was previously the Managing Director of ABDM. Concurrently, Dr. Pradipta Basu will cease to be classified as an SMP from July 31, 2026, due to the new reporting structure, but will continue in his role as Chief Marketing Officer. These changes are part of an internal re-organisation approved by the Board of Directors on July 23, 2026.
