Artson Ltd Receives ₹2.46 Cr Milestone Payment for Shipbuilding Assistance

Artson Ltd announced the receipt of its first milestone payment of ₹2,46,18,405 (₹2.46 Crore) as 30% of the overall Shipbuilding Financial Assistance (SBFA) under the revised Shipbuilding Financial Assistance Scheme (SBFAS). This payment, from the Director General of Shipping, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, is for the completion of the keel laying milestone for the construction and supply of a Floating Dry Dock (FDD) to M/s. Sadhav Offshore Engineering Private Limited. The company stated that this receipt will positively impact its cash flow and supports its strategy to scale its Shipbuilding Business Unit, including opportunities in small boats, marine products, and green boats. The timely release of SBFA is seen as an encouraging indication of government support for the sector.
