Associated Alcohols gets stay on FSSAI order for Whiskey and Rum brands

Associated Alcohols & Breweries Ltd has received a stay order from the Hon'ble High Court of Madhya Pradesh at Indore concerning an order issued by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). The FSSAI order had prohibited the sale of one of the company's Whiskey and Rum brands. The High Court's decision, dated August 6, 2026, and received by the company on August 12, 2026, provides a temporary reprieve, allowing the sale of these brands to continue.
