
Axtel Industries Licenses Cryogenic Grinding Tech from IISc
Axtel Industries Ltd has entered into a Technology Licensing Agreement with the Foundation for Science, Innovation and Development (FSID), Indian Institute of Science (IISc) for licensing of technology, know-how, and intellectual property related to a Cryogenic Counter-Rotating Pin-Disc Impact Milling System. The agreement includes the development and delivery of a prototype system and technical support. Axtel will pay up to ₹3 crores for the prototype and royalties linked to sales, capped at ₹3 crores. This partnership aims to enable Axtel to commercialize advanced cryogenic grinding technology, expand its capabilities, and reduce India's dependence on imported high-cost machinery and powders.
