Bandhan Bank appoints Sandip Kumar Bubna as Interim CAE

Bandhan Bank Limited's Board of Directors, at its meeting on April 27, 2026, approved the appointment of Mr. Sandip Kumar Bubna as the Interim Chief Audit Executive (CAE)/Head of Internal Audit (HIA). This appointment is effective immediately for a period of six months or until a new CAE/HIA joins the Bank, whichever is earlier. This follows the resignation of Mr. Navin Sharma from the position. Mr. Bubna brings over 15 years of experience in internal audit within the banking sector, having joined Bandhan Bank in August 2025 to lead the Information Systems Audit. He is a Chartered Accountant with a Diploma in Information System Audit (DISA) and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Prior to Bandhan Bank, he was a Senior Audit Manager at ICICI Bank.
