Bank of Maharashtra: Saurabh Kumar Appointed GOI Nominee Director

Bank of Maharashtra has announced the appointment of Shri Saurabh Kumar as a Government of India Nominee Director on its Board. The appointment, effective immediately, is made by the Central Government under the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970. Shri Saurabh Kumar, a 2009-batch IAS officer and Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services, replaces Shri Abhijit Phukon. He brings over 17 years of administrative experience.
