BHEL Receives ₹90 Cr+ LNTP from DVC for 800 MW Durgapur Project

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has received a Limited Notice to Proceed (LNTP) from Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) for the 1x800 MW Durgapur supercritical thermal power station's main plant package. This LNTP, valued at over ₹90 Cr excluding GST, allows BHEL to commence advance engineering and order critical long-lead items. The full order for the supply and execution of the main plant package (Boiler, Turbine, Generator) is expected to be awarded to BHEL by DVC within 10 months from the LNTP issuance date. This development signifies a significant step towards the project's execution and highlights BHEL's role as a key supplier in India's power sector.
