Airtel Extends Mobile Connectivity to Indian Army in Arunachal

Bharti Airtel has successfully completed the first phase of a strategic initiative with the Indian Army's 4 Corps to enhance mobile connectivity in remote regions of Arunachal Pradesh. This deployment makes Airtel the first and only provider to offer reliable mobile connectivity in challenging, high-altitude areas, benefiting both military and civilian personnel. The project involved deploying network infrastructure across 30 Army stations, overcoming significant geographical and logistical hurdles with the Army's support. Phase 2, covering 15 additional locations, is now planned. This initiative underscores Airtel's commitment to bridging the digital divide in difficult terrains.
