Borana Weaves Expands Unit 4 with 192 Looms for ₹24.96 Cr

Borana Weaves Ltd announced board approval for a significant expansion at its Unit 4, involving the installation of 192 additional Water Jet Looms. This expansion, targeted for commercial production by March 2027, represents Phase 2 of a larger project. The total investment for this phase is approximately ₹24.96 crore, to be financed through internal accruals and debt. This move aims to broaden the company's product portfolio, enhance its appeal to high-value buyers, secure new order volumes, and strengthen relationships with premium international brands. The expansion is also expected to improve cost efficiency and optimize capacity utilization, building upon the existing capacity of 1,212 Water Jet Looms.
