Chemplast Sanmar Appoints Prashanth Vasu as Non-Executive Director

Chemplast Sanmar Ltd announced the appointment of Mr. Prashanth Vasu (DIN: 11278134) as a Non-Executive and Non-Independent Director, effective October 9, 2026. This appointment fills the casual vacancy created by the resignation of Mr. V S Radhakrishnan. Mr. Vasu, 54, holds degrees from IIT Madras, Texas A&M University, and ISB Hyderabad. He previously served as President and SBU Head of Logistics & ERP at Ramco Systems and spent 18 years as a Partner with McKinsey & Company. He also serves on the boards of other public and private companies. Following this appointment, the board will comprise 5 Independent Directors and 3 Non-Independent Directors.
