Chennai Meenakshi Hospital Appoints Independent Director, Reconstitutes Committees

Chennai Meenakshi Multispeciality Hospital Ltd announced the appointment of Mr. M. Karunakaran as an Additional Non-Executive Independent Director for a term of 5 years, subject to shareholder approval. The board also approved the reconstitution of the Audit Committee, Nomination and Remuneration Committee, and Stakeholders Relationship Committee, effective August 7, 2026. Mr. Karunakaran is a retired Chief Manager of Indian Overseas Bank and a practicing advocate. The company affirmed he is not debarred from directorship.
