Dhampur Sugar Mills Ltd has received an order from the Excise Commissioner, Uttar Pradesh, imposing a penalty of ₹1,00,000. The penalty is for alleged non-compliance with provisions of the Uttar Pradesh Excise (Distillery Establishment and Operation) Rules, 2018, and license conditions, specifically related to storing certain liquor, ENA, and Tetra Packs at unauthorized locations. The company stated that the financial impact is limited to the penalty amount and does not materially affect its operations, which continue as normal.
