DIC India Wins Appeal, ₹6.6 Lakh Demand Order Set Aside

DIC India Limited has successfully appealed a demand order of ₹6,61,766, which included a tax amount of ₹6,01,606 and a penalty of ₹60,160. The Additional Commissioner (Appeals), Noida, passed a final order on July 14, 2026, setting aside the original demand issued by the Assistant Commissioner, CGST. The appeal was related to allegations of non-payment of GST concerning R&D fees from foreign entities. The company stated that this favorable order has no impact on its financial or operational activities.
