Emcure Pharma Completes Gennova Acquisition, Makes it Wholly Owned Subsidiary

Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd has announced the completion of its acquisition of 663,865 equity shares, representing 12.05% of Gennova Biopharmaceuticals Limited (Gennova), for an aggregate consideration of ₹2,318.7 Million. This acquisition, finalized on July 21, 2026, makes Gennova a wholly-owned subsidiary of Emcure. Gennova, involved in biotechnology R&D, manufacturing, and marketing, had a turnover of ₹4,917.42 Million and PAT of ₹54.25 Million for the financial year ended March 31, 2026. The transaction was conducted at arm's length, despite Gennova being a related party due to Emcure's existing 87.95% shareholding.
