SAMIL Subsidiary to Acquire 50.1% Stake in Rotary Connectors

Samvardhana Motherson International Limited (SAMIL) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Samvardhana Motherson Adsys Tech Limited (SMAST), will acquire a 50.1% equity stake in Rotary Connectors Private Limited (RCPL). RCPL specializes in manufacturing military-grade circular connectors for the Aerospace and Defence sectors. The acquisition, valued at an Enterprise Value of ₹5,004 Million, aims to diversify and scale SAMIL's Aerospace and Defence business, particularly in Electrical Wiring Interconnect Systems (EWIS). Upon completion, RCPL will become an indirect subsidiary of SAMIL, with promoters retaining a 49.9% stake. The transaction is expected to conclude by Q4 FY27, subject to conditions precedent.
