MIB Approves Transfer of 4 FM Stations to ENIL Subsidiary

Entertainment Network (India) Ltd (ENIL) announced that the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) has approved the transfer of four identified FM Stations assets (Kanpur, Lucknow, Nagpur, and Hyderabad) to its wholly owned subsidiary, Alternate Brand Solutions (India) Limited (ABSL). This approval follows ENIL's application dated February 2, 2026. ABSL is now required to submit several documents, including fresh Performance Bank Guarantees for each FM channel, a certified board resolution delegating power of attorney, no-dues certificates from AIR and BECIL, and stamp/legal papers, before executing a fresh Grant of Permission Agreement (GOPA) for the remaining period of Phase-III permission.
