
ESAF SFB Q1 FY27 PAT ₹80 Cr, Total Business ₹50,000 Cr
ESAF Small Finance Bank reported a strong Q1 FY27 with Profit After Tax (PAT) at ₹80 Crore, marking a significant turnaround from a loss of ₹81 Crore in Q1 FY26. Total business crossed ₹50,000 Crore, driven by a 27% YoY growth in Gross Advances to ₹23,216 Crore and a 19% YoY growth in Deposits to ₹26,924 Crore. The bank saw a substantial improvement in asset quality, with Net Non-Performing Assets (NNPA) at 0.8% and a Provision Coverage Ratio of 85.5%. Secured advances now constitute 62% of the total advances, up from 59% last year. Net Interest Margin (NIM) improved to 7.9%, and Pre-Provision Operating Profit (PPOP) surged by 179% YoY to ₹349 Crore. The bank's Capital Adequacy Ratio (CRAR) stood at a healthy 23.9%.
