GAIL appoints Manoj Sharma as Director (Projects)

Shri Manoj Kumar Sharma has assumed charge as Director (Projects) of GAIL (India) Limited, effective September 19, 2026. Prior to this, he was Executive Director and Regional Head, Eastern Region Pipelines, at Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), where he managed operations, maintenance, construction, and City Gas Distribution businesses across five states, overseeing a 5,700 km pipeline network. Sharma brings over three decades of extensive experience in hydrocarbon infrastructure, including design, project management, procurement, construction, and operations of various pipeline networks. He also served as a Nominee Director on the Boards of GSPL India Transco Limited, GSPL India Gasnet Limited, and Kochi Salem Pipeline Private Limited, contributing to strategic governance and energy infrastructure development. His leadership and proven track record are expected to contribute significantly to GAIL's continued growth and transformation.
