Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd Appoints Sanjeev Kumar as MD

Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd (GNFC) announced the appointment of Shri Sanjeev Kumar, IAS, as its new Managing Director and a Director. The appointment, effective September 9, 2026, was approved by the Board of Directors following a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Shri Kumar, a 1998-batch IAS officer, currently serves as Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Gujarat. His tenure as Managing Director is until further orders from the Government of Gujarat, with a maximum period of five years. The company also noted the cessation of Shri Rajkumar Beniwal, IAS, as Managing Director and Director.
