Hindustan Zinc: 1.22% Pledged Shares Released by SBICAP

SBICAP Trustee Company Ltd has disclosed the release of 5,15,64,666 pledged shares of Hindustan Zinc Limited, representing 1.22% of the total diluted share capital. These shares were previously encumbered by Vedanta Limited in favor of SBICAP, acting as a Security Trustee for a lender. Prior to this release, 28.44% of Hindustan Zinc's shares were encumbered. Following the release, the total encumbered shares now stand at 27.22%. The release of these shares occurred on September 18, 2026.
