Hindustan Zinc Secures Composite Licence for Rare Earth Elements Block

Hindustan Zinc Limited has executed a Composite Licence (CL) with the Government of Uttar Pradesh for the Nawatola Laband Rare Earth Elements (REE) Block in Sonbhadra District, Uttar Pradesh. The licence, covering 210.01 hectares, allows the company to conduct reconnaissance, prospecting, and exploration activities. Successful exploration and fulfillment of conditions will make the company eligible for a Mining Lease. This move signifies Hindustan Zinc's strategic expansion into rare earth elements.
