IDFC First Bank Appoints Hardik Thaker as CISO

IDFC FIRST Bank has appointed Mr. Hardik Thaker as its Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and designated him as Senior Management Personnel (SMP), effective October 30, 2026. This appointment follows the resignation of Mr. Nitin Chauhan from the CISO position. Mr. Thaker brings nearly two decades of experience in cybersecurity, with a background in banking, financial services, regulatory institutions, and global consulting. His prior roles include serving as Executive Director at GXS Bank, Singapore, and a security leadership role at the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Mr. Chauhan's last working day with the bank will be April 23, 2027.
