IRCTC CMD Post Vacant; Director Rahul Himalian Gets Additional Charge

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC) has announced that the post of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) will fall vacant on July 20, 2026, following the resignation of Shri Sanjay Kumar Jain. The Ministry of Railways has decided to entrust the additional charge of the CMD post to Shri Rahul Himalian, Director (Tourism & Marketing), IRCTC. This additional responsibility will be for a period of three months from July 20, 2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. This change in leadership for the top executive position is a significant development for the company's operational continuity and strategic direction.
