Infosys Collaborates with CMMI Institute on AI Maturity Framework

Infosys announced its collaboration with CMMI Institute to shape the Enterprise AI Maturity (AIM) Framework. As a pilot participant, Infosys contributed enterprise-scale AI practices, governance models, and deployment insights, powered by Infosys Topaz. The company is among the first globally to complete the CMMI AI Maturity Pilot Assessment, demonstrating a structured approach to scaling AI across software engineering, agentic capabilities, and service delivery. This initiative validates the CMMI AIM framework, enabling organizations to assess and improve AI implementation, linking practices to measurable outcomes. The pilot assessment covered AI-augmented software development, maintenance, testing, and support, focusing on productivity, quality, governance, and responsible AI.
