Interise Trust SPV Concession Period Ends, Project Handed to NHAI

Interise Trust has announced the conclusion of the concession period for its Special Purpose Vehicle, Western Andhra Tollways Private Limited. The project, a 4-lane road from Jadcherla to Kothakota on NH-44 in Telangana, has been handed over to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) as per the concession agreement. Toll collections have ceased, and the SPV is initiating the process of transferring other project aspects, with a vesting certificate expected in due course. This marks the end of the BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) phase for this specific project.
