JSW Energy Commissions Halol Wind Blade Plant

JSW Energy has commissioned its wind blade manufacturing plant in Halol, Gujarat. This facility, with an annual capacity of 450 blades (600 MW), will produce 82-meter blades for 4 MW Wind Turbine Generators. The move is a significant step towards vertical integration of its wind energy value chain, de-risking the supply chain, supporting domestic content requirements, and optimizing capital expenditure. This in-house capability is expected to reduce logistics costs, enhance project IRRs, and insulate the company from input price fluctuations. JSW Energy aims for 30 GW generation capacity by 2030.
