JSW Energy Hits 15 GW Capacity Milestone

JSW Energy has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing 15 GW of installed capacity, reaching 15,025 MW following the commissioning of 1,572 MW since April 2026. This growth, achieved in under six quarters since crossing 10 GW, represents a CAGR of approximately 26%. Renewable energy now constitutes over 60% of the company's operational portfolio (9,067 MW), with thermal capacity at 5,958 MW. The company is on track to meet its FY2027 greenfield capacity addition target and aims for 30 GW generation capacity and 40 GWh energy storage by 2030, with a carbon neutrality target by 2050.
