
JSW Steel: August Crude Steel Production Up 3% YoY to 24.65 Lakh Tonnes
JSW Steel reported consolidated crude steel production of 24.65 Lakh tonnes for August 2026, marking a 3% year-on-year growth. Indian operations contributed 23.87 Lakh tonnes, showing a 4% YoY increase, while JSW Steel USA – Ohio produced 0.78 Lakh tonnes, a 11% decrease YoY. Capacity utilization for Indian operations stood at 88%. The company highlighted its growth strategy, aiming to increase combined crude steel capacity to 54.8 MTPA over the next four years, with its Vijayanagar plant set to become the world's largest single-location steel facility.
