L&T Renewables Wins Major BESS Order in Middle East

Larsen & Toubro's Renewables business has secured a significant order in the Middle East to develop three Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. The scope includes grid interconnections and pooling substations. These projects will collectively provide 6 gigawatt-hour of storage capacity, enhancing grid stability and renewable energy integration. The BESS solutions will feature 4-hour duration and liquid cooling technology, positioning L&T as a key EPC player in the growing energy storage sector.
