Lloyds Metals and Energy Ltd announced a record H1FY27 operational performance, with significant year-on-year production increases across key segments. Iron ore production reached 10 million tonnes (up 36%), DRI production hit 343,064 tonnes (up 104%), and pellet production soared to 3.8 million tonnes (up 372%). The company also reported 4,389 tonnes of copper production. The significant growth in pellet production is attributed to the commissioning of its second 4mnt pellet plant, achieving 100% capacity utilization. DRI production exceeded 90% capacity utilization. The company is on track to produce 26 MT of iron ore in FY27, with plans to process 8.7 million tonnes of BHQ once beneficiation plants are commissioned.
