Maithan Alloys Acquires 0.29% Stake in Sterlite Technologies for ₹91.24 Cr

Maithan Alloys Ltd has acquired a 0.29% stake in Sterlite Technologies Limited, comprising 1,483,256 shares, for a total consideration of ₹91.24 Crore. The acquisition, completed on August 4th, 2026, was made through the stock exchange as a strategic investment to achieve long-term/short-term benefits. Maithan Alloys does not intend to acquire control of Sterlite Technologies' management. Sterlite Technologies operates in the Telecom Equipment & Accessories industry, with a turnover of ₹2446 Crore and PAT of ₹2 Crore as of March 31, 2026. The transaction was conducted at arm's length.
