Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers Completes Acquisition of Zuari Agro Chemicals Business for INR 72.75 Crores

Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd has completed the acquisition of a part of Zuari Agro Chemicals’ business, including its granulated single super phosphate plant situated at Mahad, Maharashtra and certain related assets, on a slump sale basis, for a lump sum consideration of INR 72,75,00,000. The acquisition was completed on a going concern basis, effective September 30, 2025, and the company will be responsible for the operation of the business from October 1, 2025. This is in line with the approved Business Transfer Agreement and certain conditions precedent being waived and agreed between the two companies.
